Our attorneys are known for delivering swift, lucrative results, backed by a 24/7 emergency action response team serving clients in domestic and international jurisdictions.No agency submissions accepted.Summary:We are seeking a Georgia barred Attorney that will be responsible for independently managing litigated commercial general liability defense matters with limited oversight from the managing partner of the book of business. The attorney will maintain full ownership of case strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, client communications, and participation in business development initiatives within Georgia state courts. The position requires managing a high volume of active cases, conducting and attending in-person depositions and site inspections, and serving as first chair at trial when matters proceed to litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong trial mindset, with the ability to handle matters efficiently and decisively. Experience in Negligent Security, Trucking, and Premises Liability matters is highly preferred, and candidates with demonstrated exposure to these practice areas will be strongly considered.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the individual may provide indirect guidance or task coordination to legal assistants, clerical staff, or interns in connection with case preparation and defense-related activities.Responsibilities:Manage a full caseload of commercial general liability matters from inception through resolutionHandle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparationDraft and argue dispositive and substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions in limineConduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnessesPrepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit coordination, trial briefs, and evidentiary strategyParticipate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and settlement conferencesConduct site inspections and attend in-person hearings and depositions as requiredCollaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases progress efficiently and strategicallyEnsure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and case management ordersEducation & Experience:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar.Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial general liability matters.Trial experience required.Significant experience taking and defending expert depositions required.No agency submissions accepted.Application Process:Applicants must apply directly online instead of sending application materials via email.
