WhatWork You Willbe Responsible For:
  • Tax Return Detail Review

  • Prepare complex returns (complexitydeterminedby the manager)

  • Research intermediate tax issues

  • Complete various tasks toassistmanager

  • Prepare supporting documents and schedules for intermediate tax projects

  • Respond to IRS, state/local and other notices

  • Assistmanager with routine client correspondence

  • Helps organize client meetings under the direction of a manager or partner

  • Experienced Senior may manage a limited number of clients

  • Develop staff and interns - oversee, provide coaching and training

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountingor equivalent field isrequired

  • 2+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience within public accounting or professional services supporting real estate or affordable housing industry

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Taxationor relevant field

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or parts passed towards completion, OR IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Enrolled Agent Certification

  • Experience usingGoSystemsor CCHAxcesstax software
