Job description

Behavior Therapist Internship (Part-Time- Minimum 6 months)
Location: Oak Lawn, IL clinic and surrounding area
Job Type: Part-time | Minimum 6-month commitment
Pay:
  • $19-21/hr for client sessions and office work once RBT certified
  • $17/hr for training, modules, office work, and client sessions (pre-certification)
  • $150 Sign-On Bonus after 3 months

About the Role
Instructional ABA Consultants is seeking motivated interns to provide one-on-one support to children with Autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This part-time role offers hands-on experience and is ideal for students or recent graduates in psychology, education, or a related field.
Schedule:
Daytime and Evening shifts (3:00-7:30 PM); one weekend day required, In-Person Only (clinic and in-home sessions)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct ABA therapy in a clinical setting
  • Follow treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Accurately collect and report session data within 24 hours
  • Attend training sessions and maintain communication with your BCBA
  • Follow all ethical standards and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children (paid or volunteer)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Must pass a background check
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Ideal for students pursuing a degree in psychology, education, or behavior analysis
