Overview:

We specializein providing individualized care plans, where we enable our patients tosee beyond their individual goals to reach their highest potential. As atherapist-owned and operated facility, we give all our clinicians the uniquepersonal attention, mentoring, and career support they need to best serve ourpatients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy
  • License to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas
  • Experience in pediatrics required (New grads must have a minimum of 6 weeks of pediatric OT experience - can include internship)
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define the patients degree and type of physical and gross motor impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific physical therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with the total physical therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
