Position: Federal Work Study -Social Work Assistant Internship Internship For Social Work Program Student Candidate
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Financial Aid
Reports to: Shirley Moon Financial Aid Coordinator
Salary/Benefits: 10.00 per hour maximum 19.5 hour week. No State of Georgia benefits.
Deadline to Apply: May 30,2026
Responsibilities Engage in community based practice with individuals, families, and/or communities. Advocate, broker or counsel individuals or families. Identify specific needs within the individuals, families, and/or communities. Teach individuals families or communities tools to empower diverse populations.
MUST be enrolled in SOCW2080 or SOCW2090.
Minimum Qualifications: Current student at Athens Technical College. Must maintain registration of minimum 6 credit hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Enrolled student in eligible program of study- registered for minimum 6 credit hours.
