Position Summary

EVgo is seeking a full‑time Senior Staff Marketing, Growth to help ensure EVgo gets found and chosen wherever drivers search, navigate, and charge. This role will own EVgo’s presence across navigational and business listings platforms, while also leading signage optimization for new sites to improve visibility, clarity, and the on‑site customer experience. This position will play a key role in making it easier for drivers to find and choose EVgo. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Google Business Profile (GBP), local SEO, listing management, multi‑location visibility, location data accuracy, and reputation management.

Responsibilities
  • Own EVgo’s Google Business Profile (GBP) strategy and broader business listings presence across Google, Apple Maps, PlugShare, and other key discovery platforms.
  • Manage listing management workflows, listing accuracy, optimization, and insights end‑to‑end from ā€œcoming soonā€ through site launch and ongoing updates.
  • Lead local search and AI initiatives focused on EV charging discovery, including regional keywords, site amenities, and coming‑soon pages.
  • Manage listing updates tied to site maintenance, temporary outages, and reopening status so drivers have accurate information when stations are up or down.
  • Expand localized marketing efforts through map platforms, social content, and listing‑based promotional opportunities.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to optimize SEO/AI performance and conversion rates.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and optimization of all content, images, internal linking, and business information.
  • Own relationships with key external partners and vendors including Google, Apple, Yext, PlugShare, and related platforms.
  • Lead signage optimization for new sites, ensuring on‑site branding, visibility, and wayfinding support discovery and help drivers confidently locate EVgo chargers.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, content, and web development teams.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills
  • Experience managing multiple Google Business Profiles and optimizing landing pages for conversion, including proficiency with bulk management tools such as the GBP API or third‑party local SEO management platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools and agents to support day‑to‑day job functions, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity is a plus.
  • Experience managing business listings, listing management, location data, and local SEO for a consumer‑facing brand.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across marketing, product, operations, and external vendors.

Actual salary may vary depending on job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Pay Range

The pay range for this role is: 126,700 - 158,400 USD per year (US)
