What You'll Be Doing:
  • Work closely with the MAPDL development team to test, validate, and benchmark AI agent capabilities for Ansys MAPDL simulation workflows.
  • Transform traditional GUI-based simulation workflows into AI/LLM-driven workflows through prompt engineering and intelligent automation.
  • Support simulation workflow validation, error handling, model abstraction, and model simplification.
  • Evaluate how AI agents can support simulation model validation, live solution monitoring, troubleshooting, and intelligent workflow automation.
  • Contribute to intelligent simulation diagnostics, input model checking, live and post-run observability, error detection, and hot-spot diagnosis.
  • Evaluate third-party AI tools and APIs, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with MAPDL development teams and ACE teams across multiple geographies.
  • Help drive Synopsys-Ansys innovation efforts by improving AI agent capabilities for engineering simulation workflows.

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong motivation to learn new simulation and AI technologies.
  • Strong interest in AI/LLM-based prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and application automation.
