How You'll Make an Impact
• Develop and maintain software features using modern programming languages and frameworks, contributing to front-end, back-end, or full stack solutions.
• Work as part of an Agile team to design, code, test, and deliver applications, learning CGI's engineering practices and collaborating closely with peers.
• Apply emerging technologies - such as generative AI, cloud platforms, automation tools, or DevOps practices - based on project needs and team direction.
• Build and integrate APIs, data connections, and service components that enable secure and reliable system interoperability.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance improvements across application and system components.
• Work with databases, data models, and queries to support application functionality and basic analytics or reporting needs.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate coding, documentation, and testing, validating outputs through reviews and best practices.
• Document code, designs, and processes to support maintainability, clarity, and future enhancements.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical, scalable software solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer or related field
• Foundational experience through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects

• Working knowledge of SQL and basic familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,000 - $95,700.
