Certified Anesthesia Technologist

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210

Job Type: 13-Week Contract | Local & Traveler

Schedule: Day & Evening Rotation | 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM / 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:

  • Local: $1,500 - $1,650/Week

  • Traveler: $1,900 - $2,000/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia providers in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience, anesthesia equipment knowledge, and expertise assisting with invasive procedures.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology Program.

  • National ASATT Certification required.

  • Active AHA BLS Certification required.

  • Minimum 3 years of Anesthesia Technician/Technologist experience.

  • Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, and sterile techniques.

  • Ability to participate in weekend and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and anesthesia equipment for procedures.

  • Assist anesthesia providers with arterial lines, central lines, and invasive procedures.

  • Perform room turnover and maintain infection control standards.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia equipment.

  • Manage anesthesia supplies and inventory.

  • Ensure proper setup of sterile fields and procedural equipment.

  • Support surgical teams across multiple procedural areas.
