OVERVIEW

Sugar Farms Co-op is searching for an experienced Fuel Truck Driver. The candidate should have a Class B CDL driver's license and experience operating fuel transport vehicles. They must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail to avoid any accidents or spills. Specific skills include transporting fuel to various locations throughout the farm, safely loading and unloading bulk fuel, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels, conducting daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on truck and fueling equipment.Candidate should be able to follow all DOT and OSHA safety regulations as well as company policies and safety standards.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to read, speak and write English and/or Spanish.
  • Ability to work with others and/or alone with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate information pertaining to the job.
  • Ability to perform job functions such as Maintain accurate fuel and lube inventories.
  • Fueling and servicing of all related equipment
  • Capable of obtaining forklift certification within 30 days.
  • Ability to follow proper safety and housekeeping procedures pertaining to the area.
  • Furnish basic hand tools pertaining to the job.
  • Ability to work the posted scheduled and unscheduled hours as necessary.

WORK EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience with clean driving record

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma preferred but not required
  • Possess a valid driver's license CDL class A with Hazmat endorsement
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening
