ProSidian Seeks an Administrative Shift Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) as an Engagement Team Member generally located across the Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Environmental Management Sector requirements to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

JOB OVERVIEW - THIS IS A ROTATING SHIFT POSITION

Provide services and support as an Administrative/Business Functional Area Administrative Shift Clerk (CL100) under Labor Category: Administrative Clerk at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina.  Administrative Shift Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) work collaboratively as part of the ProSidian Engagement Team as Non-Exempt personnel.  Dedicated Planned Labor Hours (DPLH) of 2080 Straight Time (ST) Estimated Annual Quantity (Hrs. Per Yr.) | 200 Overtime Time (OT) Estimated Annual Quantity (Hrs. Per Yr.). 

This is a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position, and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian-employed W-2 Position.  The role(s) are located at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina with identified Work Site Address (121 Richland Ave E, Aiken, SC 29801, USA) providing Administrative/Business functions working to provide BOA Support Services for multiple department requirement Service Areas (SA) for Savannah River Remediation LLC (The SRMC/LW Contractor) at the U.S. Department of Energy | Savannah River Site (DOE-SRS) in Aiken, SC to support the evolving needs of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Administrative Shift Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100)

  • General office duties as required by Liquid Waste supervision
  •  Organize and proofread documents and e-mails
  •  Distribute reports
  •  Operate computer to extract data
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FileMaker Pro software applications
  •  Establish and maintain filing systems
  •  Communicate problems to supervision
  •  Relay written and verbal communications promptly and accurately
  •  Follow office, safety, and security procedures
  •  Operate copiers, faxes, scanners and other office equipment required to perform assignments.
  •  Perform clerical functions such as taking dictation, transcribing, compile/arrange and typing a variety of interoffice memoranda, letters, reports, and other business correspondence.
  •  Receive, document, post and record statistical and confidential information.
  •  Answer telephone, take messages, relay or record information received and distribute
  •  Keep calendar for manager
  •  Process completed work packages for records submittal
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Administrative Shift Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) Candidates:

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong administrative judgment, accuracy, dependability, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a highly regulated Department of Energy operating environment. Responsibilities may include taking dictation, transcribing information, compiling and arranging materials, typing business correspondence, operating copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment, and maintaining electronic and physical records. Prior Savannah River Site experience and familiarity with Smart Plant, Puridiom, Deltek, EDWS, and Documentum are highly desirable because the position may require researching, retrieving, updating, and submitting operational and records-related information through site-specific systems.

  • Must pass SRS drug and alcohol screening and have had no previous record of drug or alcohol-related convictions.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum typing skills - forty-five (45) words per minute with 90% accuracy
  •  Proofreading and distributing documents, maintaining 89% accuracy
  •  Operate a computer to research, input, update, or change data and manipulate software to achieve desired results
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FileMaker Pro software applications
  •  Experience with SRS software (Smart Plant, Puridiorn, Deltek, EDWS Documentum)

  • Drug and Alcohol Requirements: Candidate must successfully complete Savannah River Site drug and alcohol screening and have no prior drug- or alcohol-related convictions.
  • Security Access: No security clearance is required; however, the employee must satisfy all applicable Savannah River Site badging, access, safety, and security requirements.
  • Schedule: Forty-hour workweek under a 4/10 schedule consisting of four 10-hour workdays, Monday through Thursday, excluding Savannah River Site holidays. Each workday includes a 30-minute lunch period.
  • Work Environment: Work is normally performed in an office building or field office trailer and may involve interaction with operational, technical, project control, records management, and Liquid Waste personnel.
