Job description

Supervisor Day - Living Room
Job Summary
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of services in the Living Room Program in accordance with all program guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the DAYTIME Living Room system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies.
  • Assists with 24/7 on-call responsibilities to ensure staff members have access to leadership at all times.
  • Reviews client intake information and determines referral acceptance and case assignment.
  • Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case planning.
  • Provides weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches with clients and offers administrative case support.
  • Reviews all written documents created by staff.
  • Reviews funding source policies and procedures, updates procedures to meet state requirements, and trains staff to implement them.
  • Ensures consistency in case files by reviewing that documentation is filed accordingly.
  • Ensures that staff handles unusual incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Completes various outcome reports, as required.
  • Participates in required meetings and trainings with the funding source.
  • Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support.
  • Engages staff in professional development.
  • Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
  • Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private contracts when necessary.
  • Handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances.
  • Conducts regular unit/team meetings with staff.
  • Participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence, creating community linkages and opportunities.
  • Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services.
  • Participates in agency management meetings and work groups.
  • Assists CQI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures.
  • Works to ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome goals.
  • Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
  • Manages case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the funding source.
  • Ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month.
  • Ensures that staff at all levels closely monitor client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation that poses a risk to or by a client.
  • Completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a positive organizational culture.
  • Oversees interns.
  • Performs duties independently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education: Master's in Human Services or related field, License preferred: LCPC, LCSW, LSOE, etc.
Experience: 2 years related experience in leadership
Other: Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record with OHU-required levels of auto insurance coverage.

  • Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Suite environment and adaptive skills to expand software application skills as necessary.
  • Highly organized, yet flexible, and can handle multiple priorities/projects well; ability to manage tight deadlines.

  • Ability to demonstrate project management, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful in researching issues and developing solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written, active listening).

Pay Range: $60,000 per year
