About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise to design, analyze, evaluate, and certify advanced aerospace products and systems. From highly integrated aircraft and mission-critical payloads to sophisticated electronic systems and space exploration platforms, you'll play a key role throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, evaluating, and certifying aerospace structures and systems
  • Performing structural analyses on metallic and composite components
  • Supporting the development of new products and engineering processes throughout the product lifecycle
  • Conducting static and dynamic structural analyses to validate performance and reliability
  • Utilizing Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to support design and analysis activities
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including design, manufacturing, systems, and test engineering
  • Supporting airframe structural analysis and aerospace design initiatives
  • Performing engineering simulations and structural assessments
  • Evaluating fatigue life and damage tolerance characteristics of structural components
  • Developing technical documentation, substantiation reports, and engineering recommendations
  • Applying engineering best practices to ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements

Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Or a related engineering discipline
  • Typically 6+ years of relevant engineering experience

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
