The Stamford Health Department of Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterologist with fellowship training in advanced endoscopy. Join a collegial team of 5 GI Physicians. This position includes both clinical and academic responsibilities. The primary office site is in downtown Stamford, at the Tully Ambulatory Center and a second office is located at a surgical center in Wilton, CT. Procedures are also done at Stamford Hospital. This position is open due to growth. Our ideal candidate is patient-centered, with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing compassionate, person-centered holistic patient care.

Stamford Health is a major educational affiliate of Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and we are also affiliated with the Frank Netter School of Medicine of Quinnipiac University. Students from both medical schools rotate on inpatient services and in our clinics. Columbia also sponsors our residency programs. Attendings are encouraged to participate in teaching residents and students, and those who do get faculty appointments at both schools.

Requirements
  • Board Certified in gastroenterology
  • Fellowship trained in gastroenterology advanced endoscopy
  • CT Licensed or able to secure a CT License
