Job description

Gastroenterologist - Pleasant Prairie, WI (NEW GRAD'S ACCEPTABLE)
Job Type - Full Time
Shift - Days (Mon - Fri)
Summary:-

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join a growing, collaborative medical group. Candidates with experience, specialized expertise, or a strong interest in gastroenterology are encouraged to apply. Recently trained fellows are also welcome, as flexibility and support are available.
This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and procedural responsibilities. The physician will participate in an evening and weekend call rotation, shared among a team of Gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including:
  • Esophagus, Stomach, Small and large intestine, Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder and biliary system
  • Performing gastrointestinal procedures, including:
  • Colonoscopy, Upper endoscopy
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Qualifications:-

  • Valid Wisconsin medical license (or eligibility)
  • Board eligible or board certified through:
  • American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
  • American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Intellectual curiosity, motivation, and commitment to high-quality patient care
