Job description

From day one we make an investment in you and your career. BMM offers a practical approach to high quality client service. Team members receive exposure to all areas of our practice and enjoy the opportunity to work closely with firm management.
BMM is currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to work as an Accounting Intern for the 2026 Tax Season (January - April 2027). The position begins on Monday, January 4, 2027 and ends on Thursday, April 15, 2027. Candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of accounting and tax assignments.
Duties:
  • Preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns including those with multiple states
  • Preparation of correspondence with various regulatory agencies
  • Performance of other general accounting, audit, and tax duties as needed

Requirements:
  • Pursuit of Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications
  • Strong organizational, time and stress management skills to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
