Job description

Provide patient-centered abortion services and sexual and reproductive health care including prenatal/postnatal care;

  • Provide oversight and consultations for staff mid-level clinicians both onsite and by telephone;
  • Maintain telephone availability for clinicians/center managers during clinic hours;
  • Serve on after hours second call rotation for consultation with nurse triage team in one week intervals ;
  • Contribute to achieving health center productivity goals;
  • Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards;
  • Ensure correct coding for all services provided, to achieve established revenue cycle goals;
  • Communicate with outside medical providers, casemanagers, healthcare agencies and the community.
  • Work with/supervises volunteers/interns as applicable;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Current Statemedical licensure andDEAcertification;

Current Board Certification or board eligibility (ifrecently graduating)in Family Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynecology;

Experience in delivering prenatal and pre/post abortion care;

Experience with or willingnessto learn telehealth

Current(orwillingnessto obtain) active staffmembership at one ormore local hospitals;

Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification;

Valid State driver’s license and willingness to drive to and work at widely dispersed PPMM

clinics if required.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to converse in Spanish desirable;

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift at least 25 pounds;
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills appropriate to PPMM clinical duties;
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to PPMM Mission.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Windows based programs
  • Willingness to learn new computer skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a health care delivery team;
  • High energy and flexibility;
  • Sense of humor;
  • Integrity
