Job description

Job Title: 3rd Class Marine Electrician

Location: Houma, LA

Position Overview: The 3rd Class Marine Electrician installs and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard vessels and in the shipyard.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Must be familiar with all aspects of craft specific marine construction, from design through installation and testing.

Qualifications:

·       Must have a minimum of 1 (one) year of experience as a Marine Electrician.

·       Must be able to read and interpret standard construction drawings and specifications.

Skills and Abilities: 

·       Working knowledge of systems operations.

·       Working knowledge of and job-related tools, gauges, meters, etc.
