Job description

Position Overview
Creation of computer aided design diagrams at an advanced level for the National Operations Division while ensuring a gh level of accuracy, and the utmost in client satisfaction.
Key Job Responsibilities
CAD Design
• Responsible for professionally assembling and publishing design documentation of all types of integrated systems.
• Drawings will include but are not limited to line drawings and rack elevations, project detail pages, architectural plan and RCP drawings, signal flow drawings, and other associated detail drawings.
• Strong construction background and knowledge of building codes.
• Work with engineers, designers and project stakeholders to implement any changes, red lines, that occur during design and installation phases.
• Working proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and company software applications required for certifications and specific project tasks.
• A solid working proficiency with 2d and 3d drafting AutoCAD and Vectorworks (current version), skill set should include knowledge of layering, mastery of basic drawing skills, page layout, rendering and file manipulation.
Job Qualifications
• 3 years' experience in drafting.
• Working knowledge of audio visual and control system related work experience preferred (Examples: Crestron, Extron, QSYS).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet).
• Knowledge in the design of using equipment from a variety of professional AV equipment manufacturers, such as QSYS, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Panasonic, Polycom, NEC, Panasonic.
• Knowledge of software design tools such as: AutoCAD, Visio, SmartDraw

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. When traveling, work will be completed in a hotel environment with limited exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
