Requisition #: 1603 Job Title: Common Data Link (CDL) Test & Evaluation Analyst Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ Clearance Level: Top Secret with the ability to obtain an SCI, Must Have Clearance to Start Required Certification(s): Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization. Examples include Sec+/SecX, Certified Scrum Master, ITIL4/ITIL5, CTEP. Job Description Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC’s service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities. Job Duties & Responsibilities The Common Data Link (CDL) technicians conduct Standard CDL, Bandwidth Efficient CDL, and Discovery CDL waveform standards compliance and interoperability tests to determine Unit Test (UUT) conformance to standards.  Duties include: * Attend and provide subject matter expertise to all meetings, discussions, and activities to provide input to both the technical and programmatic coordination efforts. * Identifying the UUT and all ancillary equipment required for testing. * Identifying required lab equipment and UUT power requirements. * Ensure all Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) have current calibration dates and are performing as expected. * Assemble test sets with appropriate test equipment and integrate the UUT into test configuration. * Create and modify the test scripts and use the unique test equipment to test the UUT to the CDL specifications. * Conduct Test Readiness Reviews. * Perform testing on the UUT against the applicable requirements documents and in accordance with the associated test procedures. * Mark the test procedures with redline changes to be included in the test procedure updates * Perform regression test efforts as required. * Performs reduction and analysis of the raw data collected during the testing phase. * Prepare the appropriate interoperability or standards compliance test documentation (i.e., assessment/certification letter) * Tear-down and uninstall the test configuration, returning test sets to baseline state ready to execute future testing of systems. * Maintain Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) account. Education and Background Requires 8 years of specialized and/or military experience. Years of Experience 8 years Required Skills * Familiar with Department of War (DoW) operations and environment, and comfortable with IT systems and software. * Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Skills * Basic knowledge of IT networking. * Familiar with Radio Frequency operations. Satellite Communications experience is desired. * Familiar with manned and unmanned systems utilizing CDL. * The ideal candidate will have operational experience in one of many systems that utilize CDL. These systems include but are not limited to: AH-64 Apache, F-35 Lightning II Full Motion Video (FMV), Litening Pod, MQ-4 Triton, MH-60S KnightLink FMV, MQ-1C Gray Eagle, MQ-9 Reaper, MQ-25 Stingray, and P8-A Poseidon. Working Conditions Environmental Conditions * Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Strength Demands * Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles.  Some occasional walking or standing may be required.   Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
