Description

Job Overview:
Works with the Rental Committee and CAM to develop strategies to improve the property’s rental program as well as supervise and direct the rental operations staff members in conjunction with the CAM for the property. Ensure the rental program is maintained and operated in accordance with company objectives and facilitate solutions to problems between Rental Committee and support staff, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and track bookings for rental units through the computerized reservation system. Ensure Rental Staff Associates are properly trained on how to utilize the reservation system.
  • Supervise the Housekeeping staff’s schedules and coordinate with the CAM for unit cleanings and common area cleanings. Conduct inspection of units prior to guest arrival and arrange periodic inspections of unoccupied units. Maintain linen supplies and guest amenities.
  • Prepares and assigns priority to maintenance schedule. Records and processes all maintenance and repair work orders. Coordinates with CAM and Maintenance Staff to insurance all projects are performed in a timely manner. Coordinates with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
  • Completes standard bookkeeping tasks for each rental unit. Generates monthly statements and tracks occupancy, cleaning, repairs, maintenance, etc. for each rental unit. Responsible for generating billing to owners for costs incurred by the unit.
  • Coordinate availability of unit with owner and inform owner of any necessary or desired improvements to the unit.
  • Participate as a non-voting member of the Rental Committee to improve the property’s rental program. Leads development and implementation of any action items generated from said meetings.
  • Acts as a liaison between unit owners, guests, maintenance staff, housekeeping and CAM.
  • Processes guest arrivals and departures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and ability to apply Florida Statutes and Community’s documents.
  • Knowledge of assets, cash balance, and availability of funds for projects and cash flow management for capital improvements
  • Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making ability.
  • Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and provide guidance to all associate levels.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, leases and/or regulations
  • Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Proficiency researching the Internet. Previous experience with financial and accounting programs preferred.
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Must be self-driven with the ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Ability to adjust to changing circumstances. 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally climb.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, etc.).

As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision. Compensation: $80,000 annually
