Job Summary

Generate incremental revenue for the ecommerce channel including internet drop ship customers, excluding Amazon. Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with both a defined customer base and potential new .com customers, to exceed customer expectations. Grow existing volume and define a strategic growth path prioritizing profit. Serve as the customer's primary interface for all products and services and create demand for the organization's products and services.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create demand for the organization's products and services with key ecommerce accounts, excluding Amazon, including but notlimited to Walmart.com, Walgreens.com, Best Buy and OverstocK.
  • Build and maintain sales territory of smaller drop ship internet accounts, located in secondary and tertiary markets focusing on sales and customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customers to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
  • Coordinate sales forecasts with internal team. Manage co-op accruals and set-up new customers into Medline's systems.
  • Manage content enhancement with all customers.
  • Analyze POS and other sales data for short assortment changes and long term recommendations.
  • Establish best practice process for onboarding new customers

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree.

Certification / Licensure:

  • None

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years of sales experience (volume producing) with 1 year of ecommerce experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Word).
  • Strong project management skills.

Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The anticipated compensation for this role includes a first-year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more. This position consists of a $75,000 minimum base salary and is eligible for 100% commission/Spiffs. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
