Job Description:

The LVC Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage and fiber optic cabling, as well as the installation of network electronics and support structures. This role requires frequent collaboration with team members and effective communication with clients, necessitating strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with essential tools. Travel is required 80%-100% of the time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Travel to each assigned site as needed to perform installations for low-voltage cabling, fiber optic cabling, and network electronics.
  • Pull and terminate low voltage wiring for data, VoIP, and video networks.
  • Test and troubleshoot cable, network, and video issues.
  • Install network support structures such as equipment racks, horizontal/vertical cable management, j-hooks, etc.
  • Set up structured wiring panels.
  • Pull, terminate, and install fiber optic cables.
  • Install network electronics such as switches and wireless access points.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with data and video cabling installation and testing.
  • Experience with fiber installation and testing.
  • Background in construction or related field preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 80%-100% of the time is required for this position.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test.

  • Experience in LVC cabling and electronics installation.
  • Professional communication skills and a polished demeanor.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is: $20.00-$28.00/hr

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
