Description
IMTAS, a premier government integrator is seeking a Network Administrator responsible for all aspects of the corporate infrastructure including asset management, networks, applications, databases, information assurance, and cloud solutions. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer's networks, laptops and desktops, and in-house servers
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Support routine network maintenance
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Familiarization with firewalls, IDS, ISP (SonicWALL) and other security devices and configuration
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and manage licensing in a hybrid Microsoft AD/Azure environment.
  • Cloud experience in design and install
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 products
  • Maintain company's website
  • Tier 1 to 4 help desk support
  • Experience in SSO (single sign on) and multifactor authentication (MFA)
  • Proficient at configuring and maintaining end user systems.
  • Maintain user access to internal training portal
  • Ability to work with infrastructure vendors and maintain vendor agreements and relationships
  • Define and design network policies and procedures
  • Develop system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on all aspects of the IT enterprise.
  • Knowledge of office telephony and VoIP.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a network administrator role
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure)
  • Window servers (All versions)
  • Microsoft products (Office 365 cloud)
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery software and methodologies
  • Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
  • Able to work both independently and in teams
  • Maintain ISO, CMMC and CMMI certifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or 4 years of experience with related certifications
  • TS Clearance Required
