BABCO Building Services is currently seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Package Handler to join our team at a luxury residential community. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!


Position Details

  • Position: Package Handler
  • Location: Jersey City, NJ
  • Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays
  • Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $17.30 per hour
  • Employment Type: Part-Time


Responsibilities

  • Receive packages from delivery carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon, etc.).
  • Log incoming packages into the property's package management system.
  • Organize and store packages safely and efficiently.
  • Notify residents when packages are ready for pickup.
  • Verify resident identification before releasing packages.
  • Maintain accurate package records.
  • Keep the package room clean, organized, and secure.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and delivery personnel.
  • Follow all company and property procedures.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, concierge, package handling, warehouse, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Conversational English required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
