Responsibilities

Firm Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of the firm’s tax vision and overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with fellow Partners to drive firm growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Represent the firm in high-level client, community, and business engagements.

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to UHNW clients, providing guidance on complex tax and wealth-planning matters.
  • Oversee high-stakes engagements involving multi-entity structures, international taxation, estate planning, business transactions, and succession planning.
  • Maintain and expand strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-touch service.

Technical Expertise & Quality Oversight

  • Ensure the firm’s tax planning, compliance, and advisory practices consistently meet the highest professional standards.
  • Stay informed on evolving tax laws and provide direction on firm-wide technical policies.
  • Review and sign off on complex tax strategies, structures, and compliance deliverables.

Team Development & Culture Building

  • Mentor and develop tax professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to Managers and Senior staff.
  • Contribute to recruitment efforts to build a strong, diverse, high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
  • CPA required.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive tax experience, with significant UHNW and Private Client expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership within a public accounting or advisory firm, including experience managing teams and complex engagements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to advise sophisticated clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to influence firm growth and direction.
