International C4I Systems of Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in international security cooperation and foreign military sales (FMS)? You understand the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a leader in systems engineering, we're looking for you to solve complex C4I challenges and shape a large, complex system-of-systems by leading the early engineering efforts and process development. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring in areas like Navy Command and Control (C2) systems integration, tactical data links, and communications infrastructure systems engineering. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and acquisition processes to create successful integrated capabilities for the foreign partner to be interoperable with the United States Government. You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering
  • Experience in integration of C4I systems into an underlying SoS architecture
  • Experience working at the program office level, such as NAVSEA, NAVWAR, or PEO C4I
  • Experience leading capability analysis in C4I systems, such as GCCS, Link-16, Link-22, or Classified Programs
  • Knowledge of requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, and integration
  • Knowledge of testing, training, production, installation, contracting, and assisting with budget planning
  • Ability to support the Chief Engineer by providing technical guidance in addition to preparing briefing materials and correspondence
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with a large, complex project pre-Milestone B
  • Experience working with international partners and foreign military sales
  • Knowledge of foreign navies
  • Ability to communicate with a vast set of stakeholders shifting between technical and acquisition contexts while blending the two
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in an Engineering field preferred; Doctorate degree in an Engineering field a plus

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
