We’re Hiring: RN- REGISTERED NURSE - ISURGERY/OR | Alaska | Housing Provided | Day & Night Shifts

MTK Healthcare is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (Med/Surg) for a 13-week contract opportunity with Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska.

Position Details
Job Title: RN- REGISTERED NURSE - ISURGERY/OR
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Days & Nights Available
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week

Pay Rate: $65.59 – $74.00 per hour

Role Overview
The Registered Nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, post-surgical, pediatric, and behavioral health patients, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and reassessments (every 24 hours)
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments safely
  • Coordinate and direct patient care activities
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Ensure culturally competent and age-appropriate care
  • Serve as a clinical resource when needed

Requirements

  • Active Alaska RN License (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)
  • Graduate of an NLN-approved nursing program
  • COVID vaccination required
  • International nurses accepted (NCLEX, TOEFL, Visa Screen required)
