International Production Cook Jobs - $22.00/hr | Airline Catering Operations | Philadelphia, PA

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Airport Area)

$22.00 per hour
Full-Time | Immediate Openings

Now hiring experienced International Production Cooks for a large-scale airline catering operation serving international and domestic flights. We are seeking seasoned line cooks with strong experience preparing proteins, vegetables, sauces, starches, and other menu components in high-volume commercial kitchens. This is not an entry-level cooking position. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with strict quality, food safety, and airline schedule requirements.

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time position
  • Preferred Shift:
    5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Schedule may vary based on production needs and flight schedules.
  • Weekend, holiday, and overtime availability may be required.
  • $22.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Prepare hot food items from raw ingredients through finished production
• Cook proteins, vegetables, starches, sauces, and other menu components according to recipes and specifications
• Follow detailed airline menu requirements and presentation standards
• Maintain production timelines to support flight departure schedules
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, steamers, and fryers
• Ensure all food meets quality, consistency, and portion standards
• Follow FDA, USDA, HACCP, and company food safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Assist with menu presentation and food production activities as needed
• Support team members in a fast-paced production environment

Physical & Work Environment

• Standing, walking, bending, and stooping throughout entire shifts
• Regular lifting of moderate to heavy products
• Fast-paced, production-focused kitchen environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas
• Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Please apply only if you have recent commercial kitchen experience.

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen strongly preferred
• Strong line cook experience required
• Experience with vegetable preparation, knife work, protein cooking, sauce preparation, and batch cooking
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and follow recipes, production sheets, and menu specifications
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment
• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, steamers, and fryers
• Knowledge of HACCP, USDA, FDA, and food safety practices
• Experience in airline catering, hotel kitchens, commissaries, banquet production, institutional food service, or high-volume restaurants strongly preferred
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
