Job description

Mortgage Loan Partner

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who is passionate about helping people achieve homeownership. Join our team at FIBT as a Mortgage Loan Partner and play a key role in creating smooth, successful mortgage experiences for our borrowers.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Mortgage Loan Officers with both sales and loan processing tasks.
  • Set up mortgage applications and analyze borrower information.
  • Pull credit, run Automated Underwriting, and price loans.
  • Help borrowers understand financing options and lock loans.
  • Communicate with borrowers, realtors, title companies, and other third parties.
  • Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Provide status updates to clients and partners throughout the loan process.
  • Stay informed on investor guidelines and loan programs.

Position Competencies:

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Willingness to take initiative and support your team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent; or two years of mortgage industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan origination, underwriting, and compliance processes preferred.
