Job description

You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for advancing cuttingedge aircraft technologies.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer you will be responsible for leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of systems, and overseeing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of developmental and deployable payloads on flighttest fighter platforms.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Lead requirements development, tracking, and verification testing for systemlevel projects.

  • Conduct platformlevel EMC testing and create test procedures for flighttest modifications.

  • Perform RF and antenna analysis, including COSITE assessments, antennaradome performance, and RF/fiberoptic cabling evaluations.

  • Assess electromagnetic radiation hazards (EMRADHAZ) and ensure compliance with aircraft power and wiring standards.

  • Coordinate domestic travel for onsite test execution and stakeholder collaboration.
