Exigences minimales:

  • Un bon dossier de conducteur de vehicule a moteur.
  • Un diplome d'etudes secondaires ou l'equivalent.
  • Aux Etats-Unis- Une certification du Department of Transportation.
  • Aux Etats-Unis- Un permis de conduire commercial (CDL). Cependant, nous sommes prets a parrainer des candidats afin de recevoir ce type de permis.
  • Au Canada- Un permis de conduire de classe3 ou de categorieD avec autorisation d'utiliser les freins a air, un dossier de conducteur sans tache et la capacite de passer une verification des antecedents criminels.

Milieu de travail:
Ce travail implique des risques moderes ou des risques de malaises qui necessitent des mesures de securite speciales, p. ex. travailler en presence de pieces en mouvement, de machines, d'emanations ou de produits chimiques irritants. On pourra donc exiger le port de vetements ou d'equipement de protection individuelle comme des masques, des lunettes, des gants ou des ecrans faciaux.

Exigences physiques:
Ce travail requiert des actions comportant de l'effort physique comme rester sur place autant a l'interieur qu'a l'exterieur pendant de longues periodes de temps, parcourir des espaces ainsi que se repositionner pour atteindre et utiliser des outils. Il faut aussi pouvoir deplacer un minimum de 23kg (50lb) avec ou sans aide.

U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed truck
  • Operate an 8000lb pound propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
  • Load and unload storage containers for delivery
  • Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g. customers' homes and local businesses

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clean motor vehicle driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Canada- Class 3 or D Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement, a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background investigation

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
