Job Summary:
Pipe17 is a venture-funded software company that connects commerce businesses' selling channels, fulfillment providers, and back-office systems into one automated, reliable flow. They are seeking a Junior Tools Engineer who will design, build, and maintain internal tools and automation scripts, while leveraging AI to improve developer and business productivity.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, build, and maintain internal tools and automation scripts using JavaScript / TypeScript.
โ€ข Develop lightweight APIs, CLI tools, and web utilities to enhance developer productivity and system reliability.
โ€ข Implement and manage API integrations between internal systems and external services (e.g., GitHub, Jira, HubSpot, NetSuite, or internal APIs).
โ€ข Experiment with and build AI-powered developer tools and automations using ChatGPT, Claude Code, and other LLM APIs.
โ€ข Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to streamline developer workflows, deployments, and monitoring.
โ€ข Troubleshoot system and integration issues, ensuring smooth operation across environments.
โ€ข Write clear documentation and onboard teammates to the tools you create.
โ€ข Participate in design reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
Required:
