Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

Booz Allen is looking for a Software Engineer who is driven by purpose and ready to build software that directly supports missioncritical operations across the space domain. In this role, you'll design, develop, and enhance the software developed for ground systems and the realtime capabilities that space missions rely on.

You'll take ownership of complex engineering challenges from modernizing legacy components to architecting new missionfocused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
  • Experience with basic programming languages such as Python or Java, or web development stackssuch as Vue or Node
  • Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products
  • Experience working within a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
