Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred

Work Experiences:

  • 5+ years' experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures required
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration across all shifts, DCs and divisions
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and directional shifts; with the ability to make strategic decisions with limited information
  • Effective communication skills; active listening, written and verbal
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and prioritization skills that allow the coordination and execution of multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Problem solver; able to gather data, compile information and prepare reports for Senior Leadership
  • Proficient in Windows, MS Office, Warehouse Management System (WMS), AS/400, Sterling Commerce
  • Basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals: stock ledger, balance sheet, GL impact and credit/debit
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain distribution related to distribution centers

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all day-to-day operations related to inventory control
  • Manages a diverse workforce, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, corrective action and terminating
  • Analyzes operations, develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Analyzes inventory results to develop and implement change for reduction of inaccurate inventory
  • Maintains a work culture that is successful and committed to superior customer service
  • Works closely with operational leaders to improve accuracy in inventory
  • Works with operation management to address and communicate any inventory related needs
  • Ensures team members are performing to standards, policies, procedures, processes and safe practices
  • Monitors and maintains compliance expectations
  • Manages and assists in maintain control documentation, effectively perform assigned internal controls, remediate internal control exceptions and response to internal and external audit requests
  • Prepares and maintain company/departmental records and reports
  • Builds productive partnerships with internal and external customers such as DC Operations, Merchant, and Store Operations

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Constantly stand, walk, sit, climb, and perform repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers)
  • Frequently required to kneel, crouch, crawl, use fingers, grasp, push and pull
  • Constantly push and pull 5 to 40 pounds, and lift 2 to 25 pounds
  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
