Internal communications intern

Position Overview
As the Internal Communications Intern, you'll support the development and execution of internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and connect employees across the CELSIUS organization. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company while contributing to meaningful employee engagement initiatives, storytelling, and cross-functional communication projects.
You'll bring strong writing and organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in internal communications, employee experience, and content strategy within a dynamic, high-performance environment. This role is based full-time on-site at our Boca Raton, FL headquarters and reports to the Internal Communications team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous internship, campus involvement, or project-based experience in communications, public relations, human resources, marketing, or related fields.
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field; must be enrolled full-time and entering junior or senior year
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience collaborating across teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with internal communications tools, content management systems, or newsletter platforms
  • Interest in employee engagement, internal communications strategy, and corporate storytelling
  • Interest in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise) and their application in communications workflows
  • Knowledge of or interest in the food & beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
  • Ability to work on-site in Boca Raton, FL, five days per week
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Key Responsibilities
  • Support intranet and internal newsletter content creation, including research, drafting, editing, and basic design
  • Partner with HR, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to identify stories and develop engaging internal communications content
  • Research and recommend improvements to communications workflows, including content intake, distribution, and performance tracking
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content creation, efficiency, and internal communications processes
  • Analyze internal communications engagement metrics and provide recommendations to improve performance and reach
  • Assist with employee recognition programs and related communication initiatives
  • Support broader Communications team projects, including public relations (PR) and investor relations (IR), as needed
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements aligned with organizational growth and evolving business priorities
