Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and factory operations teams to understand procurement requirements and technical specifications.
  • Partner with pre-approved suppliers identified by engineering and operations to analyze cost, quality, lead time, and delivery risk.
  • Execute purchases of production equipment, spare parts, industrial tools, and facility-related materials and services in accordance with company policies.
  • Assess supplier capabilities and participate in audits alongside engineering and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead price and term negotiations, manage payment schedules, and ensure delivery timelines align with project and production needs.
  • Monitor and track purchase orders, proactively address delivery or quality issues, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and support budget tracking using the company's MRO system and other relevant tools.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical procurement or buying within manufacturing, industrial, or facility operations.
  • Strong understanding of factory equipment, industrial tools, facility systems, and construction-related services.
  • Proven skills in negotiation, supplier relationship management, and purchasing documentation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
