Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills help Internal Associates excel in supporting external sales teams and interacting with clients. These competencies are crucial for ensuring effective client engagement, accurate information delivery, and seamless collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Respond to inbound advisor inquiries regarding product features, positioning, proposals, and business processing support.
  • Assist in delivering product education, sales concepts, and marketing initiatives to advisors and distribution partners.
  • Support advisor engagement activities including follow-ups, meeting coordination, and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely processing of contracting, service requests, and new business submissions.
  • Contribute to pipeline development by identifying opportunities, cross-selling products, and reinforcing sales strategies with advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of advisor interactions and sales activities within CRM systems.
  • Stay current on product updates, industry trends, and competitive developments to effectively position offerings.
  • Meet or exceed established activity metrics and performance expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and company policies.

What You'll Bring:
  • Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial professionals, agencies, and internal partners through consistent engagement and follow-up.
  • Consultative Sales Support: Skilled at identifying advisor needs, providing product guidance, and supporting the sales process through proactive outreach.
  • Territory Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with Regional Vice Presidents to execute coordinated territory plans and maximize advisor coverage.
  • Advisor Education: Capability to deliver product education, support presentations, and communicate value propositions effectively.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage advisors in a professional and impactful manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Working knowledge of annuity products, features, and competitive positioning, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Activity & Pipeline Management: Ability to manage high call volumes, track advisor interactions, and support pipeline development through CRM tools.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Works closely with sales associates, operations, and leadership to ensure responsive service and a seamless advisor experience.
  • Technology: Proficiency with CRM platforms, virtual meeting tools, and digital sales support systems.

Key Success Metrics:
  • Achievement of individual activity goals (calls, outreach, and advisor engagement)
  • Contribution to territory sales growth and production outcomes
  • Advisor engagement levels and responsiveness
  • Pipeline support and opportunity generation
  • Quality and consistency of CRM data and activity tracking
  • Strength of relationships with advisors and internal partners

Job Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of sales, service, or financial services experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of annuities, life insurance products, or financial services industry
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and results orientation
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

Licenses & Certifications:
  • Life Insurance License required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 preferred
  • LOMA Insurance Courses (or equivalent) preferred or obtained within first year.

What We Offer:
  • A collaborative, inclusive environment that values authenticity, accountability, and partnership
  • The opportunity to join the company at an exciting stage of growth, where colleagues are empowered to build what's next
  • A competitive benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; an HSA and 401(k) company match; paid time off; and employer-paid life and disability insurance
  • Remote/hybrid work arrangement; relocation available to Austin, TX if interested.
