Monday-Friday
Evening Shift
Peachford Hospital, a 246 bed private psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody, is recruiting RNs for our Internal Agency. We have positions open on the evening shifts - Monday through Friday (with no weekend requirement).
These are 13 week temporary assignment positions that may be extended up to six months with rates starting at $55 per hour plus differentials.
Peachford Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for children, adolescent, adults and seniors and has been providing exceptional care since 1973.
What kind of difference will you make working at Peachford?
Registered Nurses (RNs) at Peachford deliver quality nursing care to patients with varying psychiatric, behavioral and mental health diagnoses, ensuring their safety and continued care.
Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
  • Assess patients through a systematic process of interacting with the patient, the patient's significant others, and the appropriate health care providers.
  • Administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
  • Collect and analyze data regarding the patient's physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs.
  • Develop a comprehensive outline of care and specific goals and interventions to be included in treatment planning. Prepare interdisciplinary treatment plans for assigned patients and monitor patient's progress toward meeting treatment plan objectives.
  • Monitor patients progress while following nursing protocols.

Qualifications
What Does Peachford Require for this Role?
  • At least one year of psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is required.
  • A valid State of Georgia Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.
  • CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation, if needed.
