Production Management Intern
Job Purpose: To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products
Responsibilities:
  • Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of a full-time Team Leader
  • Review production processes against the current Process Specification Summary
  • Assist Team Leaders with information gathering to optimize performance
  • Document job descriptions for key positions, identifying major accountabilities
  • Assist with the supervision of a staff of approximately 15-30 employees
  • The position is very hands-on - interns are usually in the production area "on-their-feet" about 80% of the shift

Required Qualifications
  • Must graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028 and major in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Industrial Management, or related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.

Hours
This is a temporary, full-time, hourly position. Interns can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week and may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Production Management Interns could be starting very early in the morning and be exposed to weekend work as needed.
