Job description

The Supply Chain team is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for a minimum one-year assignment to support inventory analysis and reduction efforts. This role will help identify excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and high-risk inventory while supporting the team with data review, tracking, and follow-up actions.

A minimum one-year duration is requested to give the intern enough time to learn internal processes, understand inventory behavior, support improvement actions, and track progress over several inventory cycles.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory analysis, including excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and aging inventory.
  • Maintain inventory reports and tracking files to monitor reduction progress.
  • Support basic root cause review for inventory build-up and overstock situations.
  • Work with Supply Chain team members to validate data and follow up on action items.
  • Help document findings, improvement actions, and progress updates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic analytical skills and willingness to work with data.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge: exposure to reporting tools or business systems is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
Expected Outcomes
  • Improved visibility to excess and slow-moving inventory.
  • Better tracking of inventory reduction actions and progress.
  • Additional analytical support for the Supply Chain team.
  • Support for inventory reduction and working capital improvement initiatives.

CCFT is an equal opportunity employer.
