Server EngineerLocation: Hogansville, GA (Onsite)

Pay: $90k - $120k

Position Summary
  • Design, maintain, and optimize enterprise server infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Windows, Linux, and virtual server environments.
  • Support server, storage, backup, and disaster recovery operations while driving infrastructure improvements and modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Windows and Linux servers across multiple locations.
  • Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments.
  • Support SAN/NAS storage systems and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, system reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Implement security controls, OS hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and server issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
  • Lead server upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Support monitoring tools, system audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 5 to 6 weeks.
  • Supports six U.S. locations with limited international support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of server, storage, and backup administration experience (4-5 years of strong experience will be considered).
  • Experience supporting mid-to-large enterprise environments across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Microsoft Clustering
    • VMware ESXi/vCenter and Hyper-V
    • SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and enterprise backup solutions
    • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and load balancing
    • OS hardening, IAM, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
    • Microsoft SQL Server clustering and database administration
    • Disaster recovery and high-availability environments
    • Zabbix or similar monitoring platforms
Compensation & Benefits
  • $90,000 - $120,000 salary
  • Exempt position
  • Annual merit increases of 3% - 5%
  • Up to $10,000 relocation assistance for qualified candidates living more than 100 miles from Hogansville, GA
