We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer Intern to support our Oak Ridge, TN office.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with little to no professional experience who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to civil engineering projects. The intern will support engineering staff with design, documentation, and general project assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers with preparation of plans, drawings, and technical documents
  • Support design efforts using AutoCAD and other engineering software
  • Perform basic calculations and data entry under supervision
  • Assist with preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation
  • Conduct research on codes, standards, and project-related topics
  • Help organize and maintain project files and records
  • Participate in field visits, site inspections, or surveys as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and concepts
