Job Title

Basic Requirements
  • 14 years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field. 4 years of additional applicable professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Job Description
  • Will be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process.
  • Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management.
  • Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architectures.
  • The Tools Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure.
  • In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Space alignment for registration requests
  • IPAM subnet management, workflow management, front door management and vetting
  • Burn rate management, space alignment for registration requests, and efficiency of routing services and subnet for cloud services
  • Develop, tailor, and maintain associated technical documentation for software productivity tools
  • Provide consulting, training, and hands-on expertise to project personnel to include Key Management personnel in the use of software tools
  • Perform regular backup of software productivity tools databases, datasets, and files
Required Experience
  • Experienced IPAM SME
  • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 subnetting
  • DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
Salary

$195,000 - $205,000 annually. Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
