Job description
The Work: Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time AI Software Engineer where you will be challenged to use your skills in a high‑paced / high‑visibility team environment.
Basic Qualifications- Education typically aligns with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, however combined education/experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG architecture, and GenAI.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Python, GoLang, Bash, Node/Javascript.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Experience in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with command and control systems
- Experience with cloud environments
- Experience integrating software componentsExperience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with Nvidia GPU and C++
- Strong background developing / debugging
- Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
