Job description

Software Development Engineer In Test (Sdet)

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, Java, and Spring Boot
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality evaluation of FRFS services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test strategies, plans, and define test cases based on requirements
  • Analyze test results, triage issues, and document defects, working closely with development teams on resolution
  • Debug code alongside developers to identify root causes and shift from corrective to preventative actions
  • Perform performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and DynaTrace to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Execute integration testing to validate end-to-end functionality and seamless component interaction
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test frameworks, plans, cases, and results
  • Review application code for anti-patterns and best practices to enhance product quality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes through innovative thinking and teamwork
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with minimum seven years in software development and test automation (or exceptional skills if less experienced)
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python) with experience in Spring/SpringBoot applications and full stack development
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, EBS, Aurora, KMS, Cloudwatch)
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, Jenkins, Gitlab)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze user stories/acceptance criteria
  • Proven collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities in complex HA architecture
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and microservices architecture (preferred)
