Job description

Job Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of two Investment Banking coverage teams. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role focused on keeping the team running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented self-starter who takes pride in operational excellence and wants exposure to how a global investment banking team is run day-to-day.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth team, collaborative and performance-driven culture. In this role, you'll gain direct exposure to senior bankers and senior leadership of the Firm and have opportunities to grow into broader business management responsibilities over time.
Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operations across the coverage team, liaising between the front office and support functions (Finance, Compliance, HR, Technology, Operations).
  • Build executive-level presentations on business strategy, financial performance, planning initiatives, and other materials delivered to senior leadership and internal audiences.
  • Support the execution of business governance activities, including identification and management of issues.
  • Lead the planning and execution of meetings with key stakeholders and team events; coordinate end-to-end logistics and cross-office activities across global technology and services hubs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying friction points in recurring team workflows and proposing practical enhancements to processes, templates, and tools.
  • Data collection, reconciliation and reporting to be used in pipeline management.
  • Develop and maintain business and financial performance reports to support decision-making, alongside ad hoc reporting packages for time-sensitive senior management requests.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in investment banking.
  • Prior hands-on experience with DealCloud or another CRM platform
  • Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience (investment banking, financial services, consulting or financial operations preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and distill findings into clear, concise summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of, and appreciation for, risk and control processes in a regulated financial services environment; comfortable working within firm policies and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; capable of prioritizing effectively, multitasking across competing demands, and remaining composed under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across seniority levels and functional groups (bankers, HR, Compliance, Finance, Technology).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, a proactive mindset, and a sense of ownership over recurring tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and discretion when handling confidential information.
