Altamira Technologies Corporation is in search of Russian Language-Enabled Publicly Available Information/Open-Source Intelligence (PAI/OSINT) Analysts in Dayton, OH.
In the current information environment, separating useful data from the chaff is an invaluable skill. Come use your experience employing PAI/OSINT tradecraft to deliver actionable intelligence. Our Language-Enabled PAI/OSINT Analysts provide our clients with a clear understanding of the ever changing technological and operational environment in given regions. You will apply your knowledge of foreign languages and cultures to employ PAI/OSINT tradecraft to validate information in direct support of your clients, the broader IC, and senior policymakers. In your exploration of new data sources and analysis of information from disparate sources you will develop, and provide the client with, an accurate picture of the environment in your region. Job Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and provide analytical support for the client's mission sets.
Work both from the foreign language into English and English into the foreign language.
Perform high volume, accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation of highly technical foreign language information into colloquial English.
Additional tasks may include report writing, quality control, review, gisting, training, and others as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience conducting open-source research, including use of associated tradecraft and tools;
Experience conducting research in the source language;
Ability to demonstrate a minimum ILR score of 2 or ACTFL Advanced Low in listening and reading in Russian;
Active TS/SCI clearance;
HS diploma or GED;
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of other IC disciplines (SIGINT, HUMINT, etc.);
Experience using machine translation tools to complete human-assisted translations;
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to decrease analysis and production timelines;
Computer programming fundamentals/experience (Python, SQL, etc.).
