Job title: Financial Coach Manager Intern

Hours:
โ€ข Ten hours/week throughout academic year.
Pay: $14/hour.
Number of positions: one.
Requirements:
โ€ข 3.25 overall GPA*; major within Sentry School of Business and Economics, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
o *A faculty reference may be substituted for GPA requirement.
โ€ข Familiarity with and enthusiasm for programming events for Financial Literacy events, most notably the financial coaching program.
โ€ข Able to make a commitment through May 2026.
Important attributes:
โ€ข Flexibility, punctuality and reliability.
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to meet deadlines within tight timeframes.
โ€ข Comfortable speaking in front of peers.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with professional-level attention to detail.
Position responsibilities:
Help plan, organize, and advertise student financial coaching workshop.
Serve as a financial coach for UWSP students.
Organize financial coaching schedule and oversee peer financial coaches.
Correspond with speakers and others. Send follow-up thank you notes.
Help coordinate financial literacy speakers and events.
Attend weekly office hours to be available for questions and consultations.
Lead on-topic workshops aimed at increasing financial literacy among UWSP students.
Research and post resources for financial literacy on website/social media.
Compensation: $14 / hour.
