This position is 100% onsite in Randolph, NJ.


SUMMARY: Douglas Electrical Components is a B2B manufacturing company in Randolph, NJ that provides interconnect solutions to OEMs and research institutions. Its subsidiary, Electronic Products Industries, Inc., based in Newburyport, MA, offers complementary solutions. We are seeking a Marketing Intern at our Randolph location to support content updates, brand development, and social media execution for Douglas. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing, content strategy, and brand communication, especially in the evolving AI-influenced marketing landscape. This role is ideal for an undergraduate or recent graduate looking to grow their marketing skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Write and proofread content for social media posts, blogs, and other marketing collateral
  • Help maintain CRM platform
  • Qualify incoming leads
  • Attend and contribute to interdepartmental meetings focused on marketing-sales alignment
  • Participate in meetings with external agencies and vendors
  • Engage in both formal and informal training sessions

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms used in a business context (LinkedIn, Instagram)
